Safety and A Strong Tower

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. “The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; 

the godly run to him and are safe.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Life’s tests and trials from time to time may beat us up, but they cannot and will not kill us. 

We have safety in Jesus. Like a child who is in need runs to his parents, we can run to God, 

our Heavenly Father. Anything we need we as God for in the name of Jesus, and he must provide. 

God is a provider of all our needs and wants. No, he is not a genie! However, he hears and sees 

our needs. We must continue to trust God in times of hardship and pain.

Read the scripture below. God tells us not to worry about daily life troubles or material things. 

If he provides for the birds and animals, surely our needs are not at any lost.

Matthew‬ ‭6:25-30‬ NLT

““That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough

 food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body 

more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in

barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to 

him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? “And why 

worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t 

work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully 

as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and 

thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. 

Why do you have so little faith?”

God is such an amazing father and provider. He knows every situation playing out before us. 

This is a faith process we have to go through to be a testimony and strength to others. 

It is not the trials , but how we handle to process of the tests. God wants us to show him 

through action, we trust him and his will over our lives.

The Christian journey does not have to be a harsh path to take. We have to make the 

decision to count it all joy and not complain,  through pain , and even when our flesh rises. 

Defeat is in our flesh not in our spirit. Once we master not giving into our flesh, Satan 

cannot take over our minds and spirits. Shutting the voice of Satan out means only 

success and victory can prevail. Jesus is now and forever will be higher than Satan. 

Jesus hold all power.

God says his sheep know him by his voice. This means, we must stay close to God 

in joy and sorrow.  Being a Christian means truly walking by faith and not by sight. 

God sees everything while we are provided only a glance at a time. We do not have 

to see the end of all situations or the full picture in the natural. All we need to do is 

trust that God will resolve all issues because he loves us. It is not his will for us to live 

in nothing,  but abundance and peace. Therefore, repeat daily, there is no lack in Jesus’ 

name. We are God’s precious gifts. Walk in love and confidence!
