God's Interventions

"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

God’s Intervention plans over and in our lives is perfect. Sometimes it’s hard to trust the order of God’s steps. We often want what we want without first asking God if this is his plan. We can display selfish behavior and thoughts in which we feel will assure us that desire . But, God has stated over and over lean not according to our own understanding. Through our own understanding, there are consequences we suffer. When God is not involved, the desires we obtain will be temporary.

The pain we experience is a direct consequence of disobedience and selfishness. If we want true happiness, our will has to be the will of God. We see warning signs, yet we choose to ignore them. Running ahead of God is a losing battle. Brushing off, yet engaging in that silent thought that God’s time is taking too long.

We have to recognize, our life plan is different from people on social media, family, and friends. We see their NOW, but we didn’t see their BEFORE. That bird's eye view sometimes cripples us from staying focus on our own journey with the Lord. God wants our attention solely on him. Only on and in him will we accomplish our own goals successfully with long term gratification. He will set you up with blessings, created just for you.

Jeremiah 29:11-14.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the LORD. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”

The grass is not always GREENER on THE OTHER SIDE. The person we want or wanted is not always THE ONE. The promotion we prayed for is not always THE BEST JOB. No, we are not cursed, less than, or left behind! Those things just didn’t happen because, God’s plan is different from what we desire out of the flesh. He intervened to save us, and to get our attention. No one can give you status but, God. I’m not saying any of those things are bad. It’s simply not the right time yet. Also, anything we place above God, he will take away. We do not want to contribute to slowing down or blocking our blessings. Here is a chance to refocus our thoughts and desires to align with that of God. No, it’s not easy and the pain is certainly real. Whenever we miss an opportunity we felt we should have possessed, it’s not easy to accept. Starting over is not easy as well, but it’s must and can be done. Restoration in the Lord can certainly happen, if you allow him to operate on your behalf.

You don’t have to kick yourself, just gracefully bow out of nonsense, drama, pain, stress, depression, rejection, abandonment, comparison, and run to Jesus. He wants us to give every issue and desire to him. There is no pain he can’t heal. There are no issues he can’t repair. Remember it was Jesus who first loved us. He fell in love with us when we were so undeserving, yet he continues to cover us even when we continue to disappoint.

Thank God at this moment for his interventions. So many times our life could have ended, but yet he says you shall live. Psalms 118:17 "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Take your life back. Hold onto his promises. Today, this moment is a new day for you. Embrace it! It’s not over or too late to win in Jesus.

Thank you God for your interventions.

Today’s reading: Proverbs 3:1-35.& Jeremiah 29:11-14. I love these chapters. Sets my spirit free & give me clarity and hope every time.
