Have you answered the call of Jesus?
We are actively busy bugging God about blessings, favor, elevation, but we haven’t said yes to his call. Boasting about what you’re good at and how much money you can make if only this or that opportunity would happen. However, you haven’t first asked God what are his plans for you.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NLT.
We all know and quote Jeremiah 29:11, but are you first seeking the Lord. The only way to true happiness is to be diligent in the Lord and fulfill his purpose. His will must become our first priority.
See, God is not being mean or selfish when he commands for us to seek the kingdom before receiving our desires. No, there are lessons, tests, and trials we must learn and past before receiving the harvest. God Loves us enough to assure we are equipped and ready to handle abundance. At the end of it all, we are still servants and stewards over God’s possessions. We must not only be faithful, but show responsibility over them.
The blessings God grace us with is not just for ourselves. They are to also help one another prosper and move forth.
I encourage you not to rush ahead of God or yourself. Every life step, you have to account for in the Lord. Know that nothing is done just because. There is no such thing as wasted time to God. God will just allow you to keep wandering in the circles, like the children of Egypt, until you decide you have had enough of unnecessary pain. Then, he will place you where you were destined to be by his order.
You are not a mistake or less than anyone. Do not fool yourself into believing your life is wasted. God’s timing is not the same as our time.The surprise is only to yourself and others not God. God knew from the beginning, the things you would and would not do. Stop the delays and pity parties. You have sat far too long. Pick you your cross. It’s time to move positively forward.
Now is the time to finish your destiny. Allow God to order your steps. He doesn’t want to take your free will because it was he who gave it to you. He wants you to trust him to prove yourself and your enemies wrong. God has already proved his love, ability, and power. How many times has he saved and protected you? Only you can answer that question. You know your life better than anyone. However, be honest when you reflect on his grace and mercy for you.
Did you know you can also be your own enemy? When you block your blessings with disobedience to God, you act as your own enemy.
God said he will prepare a table in the presence of your enemies. Yes! Even blow your mind. You have to be willing to take the risk in Jesus now. What do you have to lose? You already taken risks with the devil, family, friends, fake friends, lovers, unhappy careers, and yourself. Give God the chance to complete you, make you whole, and give you true happiness. Be free! He already said he who the son sets free is free indeed. Find out what this really means.
Don’t deny yourself the most important call of your life.
Say yes to your calling. Do not settle for joy on earth, when you can also, have eternal joy, and eternal life. Do not allow Satan to afflict you with mental and emotional pain. Causing you to worry that you will not make financial ends meet. When in fact he knows, if and when you answer the call of Jesus, wealth will be given to you through your spiritual gifts. Satan is Jealous of you. He knows God will not hold good things from you. Remember he once stood in your position. He knows the benefits of being a child of God. He also, knows scripture. Satan is a thug!
Satan is the biggest liar, thief, pimp, and manipulator in the world. He is the author is lies and negativity.
All he does is keep up mess. You have to be smarter than him. Close your ears to his voice. The only way to do this is through a relationship with Jesus. So, I encourage you today answer the call. Say YES to Jesus and live your life with the promise of eternal life through obedience. Satan did not win, and still cannot win unless you allow him. Be not defeated in the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Repeat these words: I repent of my sins in the name of Jesus. I believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I believe he is the son of God, Our Heavenly Father and he died that I have life.
Find a bible teaching church and get baptized by being immersed in water. Through this statement and act of baptism you will become a born again Christian. There are many examples in the bible where Jesus request for people to repent and follow him.
There is no life without Christ. Neither here on earth or eternally. It was God, Our Heavenly Father who blew breath in our bodies, and Jesus who will give the final judgment of our life. He loves you. He writes the book of eternal life. Welcome to the family.
