Dry Places... Haven't God always provided?

“and Jehovah will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭58:11‬ ‭ASV‬‬
Have you ever been in a dry place in your life? Where things were just not coming together as you prayed or hoped? You’re feeling stressed because you are trying to make ends meet or goals come to pass, causing more frustration to yourself.
I need you to slow down and stop for just a minute to breathe. This is the time you pray and ask God for guidance. Maybe the steps you are taking and things you are doing are not what God wants you to do right now. If  you are unsure about the matters or confusion is occurring, that may not be the order of God for your life. Our Father is a God of peace.
Worry can cause us to sometimes make rash decisions without first receiving confirmation from God to move forth. We act out of fear, anxiety, or anxiousness. God has never failed to provide our needs. We must learn to increase faith and totally trust God to make all ends meet. There are no areas in our life that will lack when we depend solely on God.

We cannot allow Satan to play on our emotions. That’s not the strength or stability of Our Mighty, Heavenly Father. God will rescue us from any troubles. He is our comfort! Psalms 46:1-3 NLT “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Interlude”

Sometimes our issues are just a matter of reorganizing, budgeting, or cutting back. Patience is key! Having to structure our life can be overwhelming. However, we must remember God gives us wisdom and knowledge to navigate our life according to his plan. It is when we refuse, fail to adhere to his plan, or walk in obedience we suffer the consequences of leaning on our own understanding and will. Sometimes we act like the children of Israel who refused to depend on God. Hosea‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”
Life is really hard! Only champions can press on.
If you are experiencing dry places in your life, I encourage you to trust God to provide. Seek him before making any decisions or moves. Do not allow fear or the temporary silence of God to cause you to panic. God will answer in his time. You will not miss out. Your desires are never unattainable. If you are looking at the harvest of your family and friends. I encourage you to stop. It’s there time. Be happy for them, because your time is coming. Stay in the will of God and watch what you tried to do on your own, be manifested greater in the hands of God. Keep Smiling! Your breakthrough is coming.
Thank you God, because you rescued us.

He is Jehovah Rohi,
Love,
Marti L. Coates
