Happy New Year!
As we begin the New Year, many of us will make New Year resolutions and sets goals for 2016.
Some we will keep and the others will fall by the waste side as the year passes.
Let us not forget the purpose of our lives which is to be the best person God created us to be. We do not have to follow or mirror the journey of others. Your life journey is unique in its own and equally important and fascinating.
We have to remember why God created us differently to follow out his will. Although many of us have some of the same gifts, how we operate in them are different on purpose, but created by God to obtain the same goal which is to spread the gospel of Christ and reach and restore lost souls.
The work we do here on earth is to set up treasures in Heaven and to Glory God. Instead of setting resolutions, I decided my journey theme this year is Wisdom, Productivity, and Harvest! We have to trust God's word, keep our faith, and know he will deliver. At times we may fret and fear, but his timing is perfect. God’s will and word over our lives is a solid act of true love. God created us in his image to also, spread this same unconditional love. If there are any resolutions you forget or fail to conquer… Let it not be the love of Christ or his opportunity to bring someone to his light.
